Don Wiebe,
Analytical
Interviewing
System (AIS)
instructor
for
the NITV
lectured on
the Team
Interviewing
concept.
This
innovative
and highly
successful
interviewing
technique is
an integral
part of the
AIS training
system as
taught by
the NITV.
This concept
embraces a
systematic,
organized,
and planned
approach to
interrogating
suspects as
well as
interviewing
difficult
witnesses.
The segment
taught also
included a
detailed
plan for
creating an
organized

This
approach
coupled with
the
techniques

during the
AIS Course
is the most
innovative
and
effective

currently.
By simply

Recent Training News

NITV® welcomes current NITV Certified Examiners to
attend our Annual Continuing Education & CVSA Recertification
Course. This course presents advanced recertification training,
as well as features nationally recognized expert instructors.
The NITV is pleased
to announce that the Georgia, Colorado, and Nevada Peace Officer
Training Commissions have joined several other states (AZ, IL,
IN, MO, UT) in P.O.S.T. certifying the NITV’s Certified
Examiners Course (CEC) and the Advanced Examiners/Re
certification Course (AEC). In most states this allows
officers to both receive continuing education credits as well as
seek reimbursement for the cost of the training and in some
cases, for room and board and travel expenses.
