US Patent Office
Awards Scoring Algorithm Patent to NITV's Founder, Charles
Humble
In January of
2008, the US Patent Office awarded a patent for the
‘Method of Quantifying
Psychological Stress Levels Using Voice Stress Pattern
Samples’ to NITV’s Founder, Charles Humble. In 1982, in
break-through research conducted by Charles Humble, he was
able to quantify voice stress patterns for the first time
and to then determine, through a numerical process, the
threshold for deception. This and many other discoveries by
Charles Humble dramatically increased the accuracy of voice
stress analysis and led to over 1,700 law enforcement
agencies, including most metropolitan agencies, federal
agencies, and the US military, to utilize the Computer Voice
Stress Analyzer.
The CVSA is the
only voice stress analyzer with a patented scoring
algorithm and the only voice stress analyzer widely accepted
in the law enforcement/military community.
Charles Humble
is to be congratulated on this accomplishment and we offer
our appreciation for his long and dedicated career in truth
verification.
