US Corrections/Prison Systems Adopting Latest Technology

West Palm Beach, FL, February 21, 2019 – Corrections agencies/prison systems throughout the US have been acquiring an investigative tool that has allowed them to quickly solve crimes in what has been described as ‘a city of criminals’.  Record number of Law Enforcement agencies have quietly been replacing their old polygraphs with a system that, according to an independent, peer-reviewed, published 18-year study, has an accuracy rate of 98%.  Even users of other voice stress analyzers have been trading-in their systems on the newly unveiled Computer Voice Stress Analyzer® III (CVSA® III).   Most notably is the Florida Inspector General’s Office, Department of Corrections.  The Florida DoC has traded-in their 10 Vipre voice stress analyzers and purchased 10 CVSA III’s.   The Special Agent In Charge stated that they were very impressed by both the high quality of the training as well as the CVSA III“.

The Computer Voice Stress Analyzer® was first introduced in 1988 by NITV Federal Services located in West Palm Beach, FL.  NITV FS recently unveiled the latest version of the CVSA®, the CVSA III, to rave reviews by the law enforcement community.  Only sold to government agencies, the CVSA III is the latest in technology in truth verification/lie detection and is now considered the ‘Gold Standard’ as an investigative tool in the law enforcement community, displacing the old polygraph.  With over 2,500 law enforcement agencies and 7,000 examiners utilizing the CVSA, including the Illinois State Police, Atlanta P.D., Miami-Dade P.D., New Orleans P.D., Kansas City P.D., Salt Lake City P.D., California Highway Patrol, Nashville P.D., and the US Federal Courts, the CVSA has become the most sought after investigative tool available for law enforcement/government investigators.

As an example of the technology’s amazing abilities, D/Lt. Stephen with the Coles Co. (IL) Sheriff’s Dept., recently broke a 37-year- old Cold Case Homicide that was solved utilizing the CVSA.  A young woman was brutally murdered in 1980 and although several suspects were developed, there was never enough evidence to make an arrest.  Following her department’s acquisition of the CVSA, D/Lt. Stephen called one of the suspects, who was now 70, and requested his help in going through a box of evidence to see if they could come up with any new leads.  The suspect agreed and while they reviewed the evidence, D/Lt. Stephen asked the individual if he would take the CVSA exam to screen him out of any further suspicion.  He agreed.  After the exam D/Lt. Stephen let him see the CVSA charts, which clearly indicated deception, and he confessed to murdering the young woman 37 years ago.  Without the CVSA, the murder would have never been brought to justice and the family would never have had closure.

The CVSA III was developed to be the 21st Century truth verification system for law enforcement, and was designed and engineered over several years with extensive user input.   Microsoft has classified the CVSA III as an “instrument”, the only VSA ever to classified as such, based on its custom Windows 10 Operating System, which has been approved and licensed by Microsoft, and which meets the rigorous standards of the law enforcement community. The CVSA III Windows 10 OS ensures the security of sensitive law enforcement data due to unique custom designs not available in “off the shelf” consumer-grade versions of Windows 10.  The latest version of the patented Final Analysis Scoring Algorithm (FACT), the FACT Plus, makes use of machine learning to accurately determine Deception/No Deception on each examination.  The multi-language CVSA III is housed in Ruggedized state-of-the-art hardware provided by Dell®.
